Oggi alla Farnesina si รจ tenuto un importante evento di presentazione del Progetto PNRR Turismo delle Radici, promosso dal Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale. Durante l’evento, l’AD ENIT Ivana Jelinic ha sottolineato l’importanza di una forte sinergia e collaborazione fra istituzioni, operatori stranieri e italiani per sfruttare al meglio le opportunitร legate al Turismo delle Radici.
Secondo le analisi, gli italiani fino alla seconda generazione cercano di riscoprire le proprie radici, scegliendo di dedicare alcuni pernottamenti presso le abitazioni dei propri parenti. Questo momento di riscoperta di se stessi e del proprio passato si affianca poi all’opportunitร di scoprire l’Italia in modo trasversale, scegliendo di acquistare nuovi servizi e visitare altre destinazioni.
Per beneficiare appieno delle opportunitร legate al Turismo delle Radici, ENIT lavora per creare i presupposti e le condizioni affinchรฉ tali opportunitร possano tradursi in flussi turistici reali verso l’Italia. In particolare, la promozione di sinergie fra operatori esteri e italiani รจ fondamentale per creare pacchetti turistici che possano trasformarsi in opportunitร economiche.
Il Ministero del Turismo, il Ministero dell’Universitร e della Ricerca, il Ministero della Cultura e il Ministero dell’Istruzione hanno tutti partecipato all’evento, dimostrando l’importanza strategica del progetto per il Paese. Today an important event was held at the Farnesina for the presentation of the PNRR Tourism of Roots Project, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. During the event, ENIT CEO Ivana Jelinic emphasized the importance of strong synergy and collaboration between institutions, foreign and Italian operators to fully exploit the opportunities related to Tourism of Roots.
According to the analysis, Italians up to the second generation are seeking to rediscover their roots, choosing to spend some nights at the homes of their relatives. This moment of self-discovery and of one’s own past is then combined with the opportunity to discover Italy in a transversal way, choosing to purchase new services and visit other destinations.
To fully benefit from the opportunities related to Tourism of Roots, ENIT is working to create the conditions so that such opportunities can translate into real tourist flows towards Italy. In particular, promoting synergy between foreign and Italian operators is crucial to create tourist packages that can turn into economic opportunities.
The Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of University and Research, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education all participated in the event, demonstrating the strategic importance of the project for the country.
